In the glassmaking town of Biot, on the French Riviera, a tradition of bubble glass has been practiced for generations — molten glass worked by hand until it traps tiny pockets of air across its surface, each one catching light in its own way. This carafe is the product of that craft: a generous, rounded body in soft rose pink, its surface alive with bubbles, crowned with a handle in a vivid contrasting cobalt blue that feels both unexpected and completely right.
Handblown by a master glassmaker for La Romaine Editions, no two are ever exactly alike. The proportions, the depth of color, the placement of the bubbles — all slightly its own. Use it for water, for lemonade, for whatever deserves a beautiful vessel.
