A love letter to Paris of the past, this delicate dish was crafted by skilled artisans in Astier’s historic workshop using black terracotta clay sourced from the Paris Basin and handcarved plaster molds — a slow-paced process dating back to the Middle Ages that gives each piece its own unique character. Once formed into shape, it’s coated with the brand’s signature milky white glaze, which lets bits of that natural clay color peek through, adding to its perfectly imperfect feel.
