Our pretty little Astier de Villatte Conical Bowl is just the finishing touch your tabletop needs. Taking inspiration from authentic 19th-century pottery designs, this charming dish was crafted in Astier’s historic Paris workshop using black terracotta clay sourced from the Paris Basin and a handcarved plaster mold — a slow-paced, traditional process dating back to the Middle Ages that gives each piece its own unique character. Once formed into shape, this vessel is coated in the brand’s signature milky white glaze, which lets hints of that natural clay color peek through for a perfectly imperfect feel. With its sleek, tapered silhouette, elegant footed base and bright, fresh hue, our Conical Bowl is a lovely way to display sauces and condiments at the dinner table or serve up scoops of sorbet after the meal.
