We are so excited to announce our new "Cuesta series" with the Canyon pitcher.
This new collection of sculptural glass pays homage to Helen Frankenthaler's color field paintings. Her experimental technique of soaking and staining the canvas while pouring, dripping and sponging color heavily influenced the color approach to this collection. This new collection of pitchers and vases evoke natural landforms and the energetic paintings that inspired them. Cuesta is a ridge with a gentle slope on one side and a steep slope on the other.
Handblown glass sizes may very but all are around 9" x 6"
*There may be some magic bubbles.
The canyon pitcher usually takes 4-6 weeks to make.
