Inspired by 18th- and 19th-century pottery designs, this shallow bowl comes to us from renowned ceramicist Astier de Villatte’s historic Paris workshop, where it was handcrafted from black terracotta clay following old-school methods passed down for generations. It’s finished with a relief carving of a delicate four-leaf clover at its center and coated with the brand’s signature milky white glaze for a classic feel. A sweet addition to any tablescape, we love Trèfles for serving up sauces and condiments at the dinner table or filled with nuts or olives on a chic charcuterie board. Outside of the dining room, it also makes a great catchall dish for jewelry and other precious items on a bedside table or powder room counter.
